Here is a short Biblical History of JERUSALEM:

“7 Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion (that is, the City of David).” (2 Samuel 5:7; 1 Chronicles 11:5)

“2 Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the City of David, which is Zion.” (2Chronicles 5:2; 1 Kings 8:1)

***The City of David is the Biblical name for the oldest settled neighborhood of Jerusalem, which is a major archaeological site on the south from the Temple Mount . It was a walled city where King David built his palace and established his capital.

“18 Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.” (Isaiah 8:18)

*** Mount Zion is a hill in Jerusalem just outside the walls of the Old City. Mount Zion has been historically associated with the Temple Mount. The term is also used for the entire Land of Israel.

“9 “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King (Jesus Christ) is coming to you; He is JUST and having SALVATION, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.” (Zechariah 9:9)

***Jerusalem is called the “daughter of Zion” (2King 19:21; Isaiah 1:8; Zechariah 9:9 and other verses)

The 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles are HISTORICAL and ARCHEOLOGICAL documents.

Jerusalem is synonym for the "Zion":
“18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem.” (Psalm 51:8; Psalm 97:8)

“21 Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, Who dwells in Jerusalem!”(Psalm 135:21)

Israel Liberated Judea and Samaria - Just like U.S. and its allies liberated Kuwait

Iraq conquered and occupied Kuwait a sovereign Nation and was liberated by the U.S. and its allies.
Israel without outside help liberated Judea and Samaria after it was attacked by Jordan and removed Jordanian occupation, just like the allies liberated Kuwait. It also had a war with Egypt and Syria at the same time - June 5-10, 1967.
Historically Gaza was a Jewish City and the Golan Heights was always Jewish territory.
